OpenKinematics was founded in 2021 by a team of robotics engineers who had spent years building and deploying robots in the real world. We saw teams repeatedly solving the same problems from scratch and wanted to change that: a shared place for robot skills and a platform that gets them into production faster.
We’re now a team of nine people focused on building the features that make that possible—from the model hub and environment capture to one-click deployment. We stay small on purpose: we move fast, stay close to the code and the robots, and care more about shipping things that work than about the hype. We run our head office from Warsaw, Poland, and have a branch in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
At OpenKinematics, we believe that robots should be able to learn and adapt to real-world environments just as humans do. Our mission is to democratize access to advanced robotics capabilities by providing a comprehensive platform for reinforcement learning models that can be integrated into real-world workflows in under an hour.
